This is the kind of film that is sure to get family audience attention. Kudos to Raghuram and team for coming up with a very convincing family film ‘Missing Boy’…Thayi maththu Thainadige as caption.

It is a well known subject to people of Karnataka and in the police history it is a terrific record that keeps the department in highest respect.

Having a subject that is known to people, it needs guts. This is what Raghuram has done it right from his title card.

The emotions are well displayed, dialogues are superb, meaningful and thought provoking, and acting from key actors is tremendous. V Harikrishna in music and Jagadish S Wali in cinematography add as two more trump cards for the film.

The most interesting part starts when Nischay (when he was child of 5 years missing boy from Kundagol railway station in the name of Shambu) comes to India from Europe with Nanasu (Archana – TV journalist from Europe). Nischay a big business magnet of a watch industry in Europe has a dream in his sleep quite often that draws him to the roots.

How to get hold of his whereabouts, parents, living places, and people he knew etc is the clever work of Lavakumar (Rangayana Raghu). The fake parents and come to say that they are real parents but they are efficiently sent out by Lavakumar as he knows the ulterior motive.

Finally it is at the pilgrimage place of Sri Siddaruda Matha in Hubballi on a fine Monday afternoon Shanthavva (Bagirathi Bai) is shocked to see her 25 years ago lost son. This is what the most interesting emotional point of the film.

Director Raghuram picking one from police story handled with great care and caution. He has picked right talents for this film. The screenplay is very interesting and absorbing.

Raju of Kannada cinema Guru Nandan has given his best performance. His emotions are too good. The next in the queue to get top honors is Rangayana Raghu. Archana Jayakrishna is a heroine to watch for a long time. Ravishanker Gowda concern and comedy is commendable. Jai Jagadish and Vijayalakshmi Singh make perfect couple on screen. Bhagirathi Bai as Shanthavva steals the show at the end of the film at Siddaruda Matha.

V Harikrishna is once again top class in background and also in two songs – one at foreign land and the other one on mother.

Jagadish Wali gives the best visuals for the audience. You can easily watch this film with your family.
